Allen Bradley 1747-UIC Interface Converter

The 1747-UIC SLC 500 USB-to-DH-485 Interface Converter by Allen-Bradley is an interface converter which gives computers USB ports, direct connection to the SLC 500, MicroLogix and ControlLogix controllers, and PanelView terminals with DH-485 ports. The 1747-UIC comes with two switch-selectable DH-485 ports, an RJ-45 (Ethernet) port for direct connection to the SLC 500, 5/01, 5/02, 5/03, AIC, and PanelView, and a single RS-232 DB9 port. It is powered by the USB port of a connected device and provides 500V DC circuit isolation between the power and the DH-485 common. The 1747-UIC has a Universal Serial Bus (USB) transfer speed of 12 Mbps with < 100 mA power consumption at the USB port and a converter overall Baud rate of 19.2 Kbps. The 1747-UIC’s operational temperature ranges between 0 and 60 °C (32 and 140 °F) and it has net dimensions of 109mm x 50.6mm x 31mm (4.29in x 1.99in x 1.22in).
