This module is designed with group channel isolation. It has Four (4) input groups, with Eight (8) input channels per group. This input grouping enables Sinking or Sourcing wiring configuration per group.

For sinking inputs, incoming DC common of the incoming signals is connected to the DC COM terminal For sourcing configuration, terminate the (V+) of the incoming signals to the DC COM of the 1769-IQ32T module.

Environment considerations for this module include an operating temperature range of 0 - 60 °C or 32-140 °F), vibration rating of 5 g @ 10…500 Hz, and shock rating of 30 g for panel mount and 20 g for DIN rail mounting.

The Allen-Bradley 1769-IQ32T is a compact 24V DC-rated sink/source terminated input module. It is part of the 1769 Compact I/O Module series. It comes with Thirty-Two (32) inputs with Eight (8) points per group. The 1769-IQ32T has an operating voltage range of 20.4-26.4V DC at 60 deg. Celsius (140 deg. Fahrenheit). Its minimum on-state voltage is 19VDC and its maximum inrush current is 5 mA. It has a Type 1+ IEC input compatibility with an open-style enclosure type rating. The 1769-IQ32T Compact Input Module can be installed not more than 8 modules away from the power supply. Its tongue-and-groove slots serve as guides for installation to any adjacent module including the processor. This mechanism also secures the modules together. To ensure proper electrical connection and allow communication between the 1769-IQ32T and controller, move the bus lever to the leftmost side until it clicks. Make sure that the lever is locked in place for consistent connectivity. The DC Digital 1769-IQ32T is designed for use in an industrial environment and should be mounted to a well-grounded surface. This product is shipped with removable write-on terminal labels that can be used for easy identification of parts. These ID tags will be visible even when the module door is closed. For safety, shut off the power when wiring, inserting, and removing the 1769-IQ32T.
