The 20-HIM-C3S interface is a full numeric interface manufactured by Allen-Bradley. The 20-HIM-C3S interface features the Drive Peripheral Interface protocol and it comes with data rates 125 Kbps or 500 Kbps. The current consumption is rated as 140 milliamps at 12 Volts DC supplied by the host device. To ensure the proper functioning of the unit, provide the proper environmental conditions. These conditions include an ambient operating temperature range of 0 to 50 degrees Celsius and an unused device should be stored in an ambient storage temperature of -40 to 85 degrees Celsius. The 20-HIM-C3S interface features a relative humidity range of 5 to 95%, non-condensing. It is important to make sure that the 20-HIM-C3S interface is not installed in an area where the ambient atmosphere contains any volatile or corrosive gasses. The Allen-Bradley 20-HIM-C3S is a PowerFlex 7 class drive accessory module. This module is an IP66 (NEMA 4X/12) Human Interface Module (HIM) that features a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) screen that is designed for remote panel mounting. This module does not require an external power supply as power is supplied locally by the host drive.

The 20-HIM-C3S comes with a Drive Peripheral Interface (DPI) which supports transfer rates of 125 Kbps or 500 Kbps. Additionally, this drive comes with a 3-meter communication cable for connection to the host drive with catalog number 1202-C30. Additionally, this module supports accessory cables such as 1202-C03; 1202-C10; 1202-C90. Other accessories available to this module are the NEMA Type 1 Bezel Kit with catalog number 20-HIM-B1; DPI cable kit with connector, tools and 100 meter cable with catalog number 1202-CBL-KIT-100M; DPI Cable connector kit with catalog number 1202-TB-KIT-SET and DPI/SCANPORT one-to-two port splitter cable with catalog number 1203-S03.
