The 5094-OB16XT output module is a digital 16-point standard sourcing output module from Allen-Bradley. This output module operates with an on-state voltage range of 18 to 32 Volts DC, and its maximum on-state voltage drop rating is 0.25 Volts DC. Its maximum off-state voltage rating is 5 Volts DC. The 5094-OB16XT output module works with Logix Designer application version 31.00.00 or later. This Allen-Bradley 16-point standard sourcing output module is designed to work with Allen-Bradley CompactLogix 5380, Compact GuardLogix 5380, ControlLogix 5580, and GuardLogix 5580 controllers. The maximum output current rating per channel on the 5094-OB16XT output module is 2 Amps per channel.

The Allen-Bradley 5094-OB16XT output module is a standard DC output module that is made for use in extreme industrial environments. It is manufactured with a wide variety of detection and protection features to keep it safe in extreme environments. This detection feature will let the users know if a wire on one of the module’s outputs has become disconnected or if an output point is missing a load. The 5094-OB16XT output module can detect overloading and short circuits too, but its outputs must be in their on-state for at least 250 milliseconds to detect the overloading and short circuits. This sourcing output module also has the “Thermal Shutoff” protection feature that can shut off output or the whole module if the output or module overheats.
