Designed by Allen-Bradley, the MPL-B420P-MK22AA motor is a premium permanent magnet rotary servo motor. The MPL-B420P-MK22AA servo motor is classified as a low-inertia motor and it features a power voltage of 400 Volts. The Allen-Bradley servo motors feature a high torque to size ratio and they come with high-performance encoders. The MPL-B420P-MK22AA servo motor features smart motor technology and it comes with low rotor inertia. The MPL-B420P-MK22AA servo motor is designed with the high-energy rare earth magnets and it has a shaft end threaded hole. It features the DIN connectors and it comes with the standard IEC 72-1 mounting dimensions. This brushless AC synchronous servo motor features the IP 66 environmental rating with an optional shaft seal and it uses the environmentally sealed cable connectors. It is a 5000 RPM motor that features a 115 millimeters frame size.

The MPL-B420P-MK22AA servo motor features the multi-turn resolution encoder, and it comes with the standard factory designated options. The multi-turn encoder provides the motor with high-resolution absolute position feedback. It has an electromechanical design. The MPL-B420P-MK22AA servo motor also features the IEC metric and it is a no-brake servo motor. When mounting the MPL-B420P-MK22AA servo motor, careful handling is needed. Note that damage might occur to the motor bearings as well as the feedback device if there is a sharp impact on the shaft. Therefore, the users should avoid striking the shaft couplings or the pulleys with tools when installing or removing the motor. The recommended operating temperature range for the MPL-B420P-MK22AA servo motor is from 32 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit.
