The MPL-B430P-SJ72AA is equipped with Smart Motor Technology wherein the on-board memory is capable of retaining the motor’s identity which contributes to faster device identification when the motor is linked to the communication network. This effectively reduces configuration and commissioning time.

The MPL-B430P-SJ72AA has an IP rating of IP53 when shaft is installed in down orientation; IP51 when horizontal and IP 50 when facing up. IP66 is met when an appropriate shaft seal is installed.

The MPL-B430P-SJ72AA is a servo motor from a 400 Volts voltage class. It has 115-millimeter frame size; its magnet stack length is 3 inches with a rated speed of 5000 rpm, a rated output power of 2.2kW, and no brake. Feedback is provided through a single-turn high-resolution encoder (1024 Sin/Cos) which does not require a battery to function. A quick and easy connection of the motor can be completed with a right-angled type DIN connector (180 degrees rotatable). The MPL-B430P-SJ72AA communicates over networks as a slave device (Kinetix or other servo drives are the master network device). Its motor identity is preserved on the network with an integral on-board memory. The MPL-B430P-SJ72AA weighs around 5.5 kilograms (12.13 pounds) and its dimensions are 132 x 215 x 98.3 millimeters (5.2 x 8.48 x 3.87 inches). It has an operating temperature range of 0 to 40 degrees Celsius, and an optional shaft seal kit can be ordered to achieve an IP66 enclosure rating ( IP50 is the standard). Like all MP-Series servo motors, a motor terminal connector kit can be ordered for the MPL-B430P-SJ72AA if a user prefers to personally assemble the module’s cables.
