The MPL-B540D-MJ72AA servo motor is an Allen-Bradley 400 Volts AC class servo motor device that is used for controlling the speed, angular position, and acceleration time of industrial machine parts. It is appropriate for applications that do not require more than 3.4 kilowatts of power and do not run at higher speeds than 2000 rpm. The MPL-B540D-MJ72AA servo motor is a brushless servo motor with permanent rare-earth magnets which rotate (the rotor part) and a fixed armature (the stator) that is AC voltage supplied. In this kind of construction, where there are no moving armature and commutation devices, nearly all mechanical problems are eliminated and the device maintenance process is simplified. Furthermore, the enclosure is made with much smaller dimensions, which in the case of the MPL-B540D-MJ72AA servo motor are 287 millimeters x 143.5 millimeters x 143.5 millimeters.
