The MPL-B580J-MK74AA servo motor is an MPL series low-inertia servo motor manufactured by Allen-Bradley. It has ratings of 460 Volts AC voltage, 7.9 kilowatts of output power, 3000 revolutions per minute, 34 N-m stall torque, and 32 stall Amps. Its multi-turn encoder provides absolute feedback on the shaft’s position and the servo motor is fitted out with high-energy rare-earth magnets to provide faster acceleration and better performance in different applications. The MPL-B580J-MK74AA servo motor can be used as a component of an Allen-Bradley Kinetix drive’s safe-off feature because of its encoder type. Its magnetic stack length is 8 inches and its circular DIN rotatable cable connectors allow for more flexibility in the cable orientations.
