The MicroLogic 2.3 is a 3-pole 3D electronic trip unit for the ComPacT NSX 630 circuit breaker. Rated at 630A, this electronic trip unit is ideal for all standard and specific applications. It features adjustable long-term overload protection, adjustable short-term overload protection, and fixed transient short-circuit protection. The MicroLogic 2.3 indicates overload conditions via an alarm LED. A green ready LED will flash if the circuit breaker is ready to trip. When used with the PowerTag NSX and ComPacT NSX basic framework, this product is part of our EcoStruxure Power architecture.

A trip unit is a device mechanically connected to a circuit breaker to release the holding mechanism and automatically disconnect the circuit breaker. Its function is to provide protection against electric shock and leakage when the vector sum of the currents passing through the zero-sequence current transformer is not zero due to leakage or electric shock. A voltage is generated across the secondary coil of the transformer, amplified by an integrated circuit. When the set value is reached, the power is cut off within 0.1 seconds via the leakage current trip unit.
