The Schneider Electric TSXP573623AM micro PLC integrates various advanced features to facilitate efficient automation. It supports Ethernet TCP/IP connectivity through an RJ45 interface for 10/100 Mbit/s data rates alongside a non-isolated serial link utilizing two female mini-DIN connectors, facilitating communication at 19.2 or 115 kbit/s. With the capacity to manage two fieldbus modules—reduced to one if using CANopen—and a maximum of eight AS-Interface bus modules, this unit is designed for extensive networking capabilities.

Instructions' execution time is notably rapid, clocking in at 0.12 µs for Boolean operations without a PCMCIA card and 0.17 µs with the card installed. Two PCMCIA slots augment this flexibility: one for memory extension and another for either communication or a 384 Kwords program memory extension card. For application structuring, this PLC accommodates one master task, one fast task, and up to 64 event tasks, demonstrating its effectiveness in managing complex processes.

With a total internal RAM of 64 Kwords available for program and data storage, the TSXP573623AM ensures ample resources for operation. The architecture permits handling up to 16 racks and supports 1024 discrete I/O channels alongside 128 analog I/O channels, making it well-suited for intricate control requirements. The maximum size of object areas is defined by specific ratios of internal data locations, such as 30.5% for internal words and 32% for constant words. Additionally, the module processes 4.49 K instructions per millisecond with a PCMCIA card and 6.57 K instructions per millisecond without one.
