Allen Bradley 1715-TASOB8DE Termination Assembly

The 1715-TASOB8DE is a Bulletin 1715 Redundant I/O Termination Assembly manufactured by Allen-Bradley. Its rating is 0.5 Amps per channel at 18 to 32 Volts DC operating voltage, 3.0 Watts of maximum system power dissipation per field loop, 150 Volts per second maximum output voltage slew rate, and 12 Volts maximum de-energized output voltage slew rate. Its dimensions are 6.25 x 1.625 x 4.625 inches. The 1715-TASOB8DE redundant I/O termination assembly is suitable for use with the Allen-Bradley 1715-OB8DE Digital Output Modules. It features 8 channels and it supports simplex configuration. It has 16 Volts of pilot duty rating and it can be installed with 18 to 16 AWG copper cables with a minimum temperature rating of 85 degrees Celsius.

The Allen-Bradley 1715-TASOB8DE termination assembly is suitable for use in different environments with a maximum surrounding air temperature of 70 degrees Celsius and an operating temperature range of -25 to 70 degrees Celsius. It has a strong level of immunity for external interference and good tolerance for vibration. This makes it possible for this termination assembly to be installed in the same industrial locations with moving machinery without risking a reduction in its performance, and 0.4 x 2.0 flathead screwdrivers are used for installing cables on the channels of the 1715-TASOB8DE termination assembly at a screw torque of 0.5 N-m. This termination assembly has a conformal coating to protect its components from dust and humidity but it should not be installed or operated in an environment that is exposed to direct sunlight and to rain, vapor, and corrosive gases.
