The 22F-A8P0N113 is part of the compact, cost-effective, and scalable adjustable frequency AC drives from Allen-Bradley. This drive belongs to the PowerFlex 4M of intelligent drives that are primarily used to modulate the rotation speed and torque of an industrial AC motor. This drive is also used for the purpose of energy savings as the 22F-A8P0N113 comes with a variety of configurable starting and stopping modes intended to limit the generation of high levels of inrush current as well as minimize the effect of mechanical stress due to the sudden change in the motor’s rotation direction. The 22F-A8P0N113 is designed to operate at a 1-phase, 200-240 VAC input voltage, the input current of 22.3 Amperes, and real power of 5.4 kVA. The output parameters of this drive include an output frequency of 0-400 Hz and an efficiency of 97.5%. The built-in protection features of this drive include Class 10 Motor overload protection, Overcurrent, Bus Over, and Undervoltage. The 22F-A8P0N113 comes with an embedded RS485 communication port that can be configured as a Modbus Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) or Drive Serial Interface (DSI) interface. Utilize the Modbus RTU capability if the drive is intended to be connected to a daisy-chain network of drives and other Modbus-enabled devices. The 22F-A8P0N113 PowerFlex 4M AC Adjustable Frequency Drive, is a 240V AC (single-phase), variable frequency drive by Allen-Bradley with an LED display and a filter but no brake. It provides control in a unique and compact design. The drive has an operating voltage of 240V AC (1-phase) at 50-60Hz, with an output rating of 8A and 1.5Kw (2HP) at 200-240V AC input line. It has an input voltage range of 180-265V AC at 47-63Hz, with an input current of 22.3A, and real power consumption of 5.4KVA. The drive offers branch protection via its 35 Class J fuses, with the 140M-D8E-C25 motor protector and the 100-C23 circuit contactor. The controller has 5 (2 programmable) 24V DC digital control inputs with Source mode (18-24V/0-6V ON/OFF) mode and Sink mode (0-6/18-24V ON/OFF) that are selectable via a DIP switch, and 1 unipolar, 0-10V DC/4-20mA analog input, with 100 K Ohms/250 Ohms input impedance. It has 1 Form C relay output, with 3A at 30V DC, 125V AC, and 240V AC resistive ratings, and 0.5A at 30V DC, 125V AC, and 240V AC Inductive ratings. The controller features over-current protection at over 200% hardware limit, 300% instantaneous fault, and also over-voltage and under-voltage protection. It provides a user interface via its fixed programming keys, and the 4-digit LCD display, with 10 LED indicators for showing the drive’s status. The device comes with an integral RS-485 communication port with support for programming by a PC, and it can be fitted with the optional DeviceNet, EtherNet/IP, and PROFIBUS communication options for the expanded network. It is mounted using panel mounting, and it comes in an IP10-rated enclosure. It has an operating temperature range of 14-122F without de-rating, at a relative humidity range of 0-95%, without condensation, and it can operate at a maximum height of 1000m, without de-rating. It weighs around 1.6Kg (3.5lb), with net dimensions of 72mm x 174mm x 136mm, and it is UL, CE, c-UL, and C-Tick-certified.
