The MPL-B320P-SJ72AA is a Kinetix MP Series of Low-inertia servo motors. This family of servo motors uses rare earth magnets as primary component of the internal rotor, enabling fast acceleration which is ideal for motion and position control applications that require high speed response.

The MPL-B320P-SJ72AA being a servo motor only, requires a servo drive. Servo drive process the feedback received from the single-turn, high-resolution encoder that is installed along the MPL-B320P-SJ72AA motor. The servo drive compares the current position to the desired position which can be manually entered or automatically calculated. The servo drive then send the correction to the motor to drive the motor to the desired motion or position.
