TM200DC is a 4 poles thermal-magnetic trip unit used on ComPacT NSX 250DC circuit breakers. This 200A rating thermal-magnetic trip unit is an optimum choice for all distribution applications. It embeds an adjustable thermal overload protection and a fixed magnetic protection against short-circuits. The rated current is 200A and the operational voltage is 750VDC. It is compliant with international standards (IEC 60947), CCC, EAC and marine specifications.

Its working principle is that when current passes through the trip unit, the thermal element heats up, causing the bimetallic strip to deform. When the deformation reaches a certain degree, it strikes the traction rod, thereby actuating the mechanism to cut off the circuit.
