The Allen-Bradley 150-C25NCR is an SMC-3 solid state smart motor controller. It is a soft starter controller that is used to operate three-phase motors. Ideal for any applications, this 3-wire, open-type controller offers different starting modes like soft start, current limit start, kick start, coast-to-rest, and soft stop. This controller also has an LED display that will inform you of its current states such as OFF, RUN, and FAULT diagnostics. The 150-C25NCR has an open-type enclosure and the entire controller measures 1.77 x 5.5 x 4.33 inches. This small size not only allows you to save space but it also minimizes the heat generated by the controller. Compared to other similar soft start controllers, the 150-C25NCR controller is much more compact in size. This controller is often used for fans, compressors, chillers, conveyors, pumps, and lifts. The 150-C25NCR also has a microprocessor-controlled electronic overload feature that comes with motor and system diagnostics, adjustable trip class (you can choose from 10, 15, 20, or off), and configurable auxiliary contacts (ideal for a standard squirrel cage induction motor or full 3-phase control). You can choose to do a manual reset or an automatic reset whenever an overload happens. Faults detected by the 150-C25NCR include selectable phase reversal, phase imbalance, phase loss/open load, shortened SCRs, and overtemperature in power section. The selectable start times of the 150-C25NCR are 2, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, or 30 seconds. It also has a selectable initial torque of 0%, 25%, 35%, or 65% of the locked rotor torque. Its selectable current limit is 150%, 250%, 350%, or 450% of the full load current. When wired, you can choose a selectable soft stop, particularly for off, 100%, 200%, or 300% of the start time setting. At 450% FLA, the selectable kickstart is 0, 0.5, 1, or 1.5 seconds. The current rating of the 150-C25NCR controller is 25A and its input voltage ranges from 200-600V AC at 50-60 Hz. The 150-C25NCR’s motor current ranges from 9.2-25 A, it has 15 kW maximum at 50 Hz, and a 7.5-20 maximum Hp range at 60 Hz. This controller also comes with a 24V AC/DC control voltage, a maximum operating altitude of 2000 meters, and a non-condensing 5-95% relative humidity rate.
