The 160-BA03BPS1 is an Allen-Bradley manufactured Variable Speed Drive (VSD) that belongs to the Bulletin 160 of Smart Speed Controller (SSC). This variable Speed Drive (VSD) is a compact, scalable device designed for simple and general-purpose speed control requirements. It implements control using Volts / Hertz (V/Hz) control with an adjustable ratio of the two variables to suit the control requirements of the process. This drive is a Preset Speed model, able to provide modulating speed control via pre-defined speeds, triggered via the external open collector inputs wired to the control input terminals. The 160-BA03BPS1 is capable of being configured with up to 8 preset speeds and 2 acceleration a/ deceleration profiles. In addition, this drive is also capable of being parameterized with different stopping modes such as Ramp to Stop, Coast to Stop, DC Injection, and DC Injection Braking with Auto Stop. It also comes with built-in protection features that protect the drive in the event of an Overcurrent, Overcurrent Programmable limit, 200% of Hardware Limit, 300% of Instantaneous Fault Excessive Temperature, Over/Under Voltage, Ground Short, and Output Short Circuit. It is also capable of Control Ride Through and Faultless Ride Through. The 160-BA03BPS1 operates when applied with 380-460 VAC, 3-Phase input voltage along with an input current of 2.8 Amperes and input power of 2200 VA. It delivers an output voltage of 380-460 VAC, 3-Phase, output current, and power of 2.3 Amperes and 1.0 HP or 0.75 kW, respectively. This drive has an Open (IP20) enclosure and supports DIN-rail and Panel Mounting.
